Counts Carlo and Sandra Sigurtà, passionate golfers, created a 9-hole course in the garden, where they often loved to play. And they did so in style! In the summer, they would invite renowned golf instructors, and the atmosphere was always electric, filled with shots, chatter, and laughter. The wooden cabin you see on the hill was the "Golf House," from which the first hole of the course began.

Count Carlo, a well-known pharmaceutical industrialist, often hosted world-renowned scientists, including several Nobel Prize winners, facilitating meetings with prominent Italian scholars. Among them, Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of penicillin. Dini, a little white poodle, an expert at retrieving out-of-bounds balls, often shared the story of a day during a match when Fleming and other leading scientists began talking not only about science but also about healthy foods and nutrition. It was from one of those discussions that the idea for Yogurtal Sigurtà emerged, one of the first probiotic products introduced to the Italian market.

In short, between golf matches and scientific discussions, this house has always been a crossroads of extraordinary stories.
